JOB: Partner Development Manager, Archive-It, Internet Archive, San Francisco | Bay Area Library & Information Network

JOB: Partner Development Manager, Archive-It, Internet Archive, San Francisco

The Internet Archive is seeking a Partner Development Manager for Archive-It, a web archiving service, to work in our San Francisco offices.

This is not a sales position in the traditional sense as the Internet Archive was founded as a non profit and is both a vendor and a partner to our participating institutions; although the ideal candidate is adept at prospecting, generating interest in the service, and closing business.

Archive-It enables our 130+ library and archive partners to capture and manage the highest quality content from the web.  Internet Archive is a 501 c (3) and was founded in 1996 as a Digital Library.  First deployed in 2006, Archive-It partner institutions include University libraries, State Archives/Libraries, NGO’s, Museums, Public Libraries and Federal Institutions.

The ideal candidate for this position is resourceful, flexible, highly collaborative and has a strong commitment to the goals and values of the Internet Archive mission. Experience working with Libraries, Archives, Museums and other memory institutions is highly desirable.
