Under the direction of the Executive Director of the Library, the Head of Access Services is responsible for managing the Access Services Department, including assessment, strategic planning, training, and technology. This person will also assist the Executive Director of the Library in expanding services and connections with public and academic communities through a variety of consortial relationships.

The ideal candidate will take pleasure in helping undergraduates, especially first and second-year students, succeed academically by providing quality reference service and engaging teaching sessions. The ability to work in a shared decision-making environment as well as a sense of humor and fun are essential. Additional duties may include assisting with digital projects, creating research guides, and more.
