<p><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION</strong><br />
Staff a community-based branch of a health library.  Prepare patron research packets and performs on-line database searches. Assist in the staffing, promotion, and delivery of services for all library sites, working closely with other library staff. Work with the Director to implement the systems and technical service provided by the Library at all sites. Maintains computers and refers to IT for support of both staff and public-access Internet services.</p>
<p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide patron services: conducting reference interviews and assisting patrons with research</li>
<li>Work with educators at health clinic to meet their information needs</li>
<li>Coordinate staffing of libraries with other branches</li>
<li>Work with on-site volunteer (s)</li>
<li>Acts a liaison between branch clinic and Main Library as first point of contact between agencies and relays information to Director of Main Library</li>
<li>Participate in the planning process for library expenditures and physical facilities</li>
<li>Coordinate staffing for branch</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>M.L.S./M.L.I.S. required, familiarity and experience with medical terminology necessary Or M.P.H. with patient education emphasis Fluent</li>
<li>Spanish language speaker required</li>
<li>Experience with on-line database management and searching</li>
<li>Interest and experience in public service and volunteer relations</li>
<li>Strong communication skills, verbal and written</li>
<li>Ability to work with diverse agencies and individuals</li>
<li>Self-motivated and committed to a quality information service</li>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This is a six (6) month to one year temporary position. The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 has the potential to reinvigorate education in the US. Our Bookshare program provides digital books for students with print disabilities. Our Training Marketing Manager is key in communicating these services to educators. Bookshare seeks to provide more services to students with print disabilities.<span id="more-206"></span></p>
<p>This position will lead our initiative to develop revenue-generating programs which result in improvements in special education. The best candidate will launch new offerings, and see implementation. The necessary functions include cross-team collaboration with engineering, membership, support and state program managers.</p>
<p>Outcomes include successful processes, systems, and communications. Define new professional development services focused on assisting schools with the flow of federal government funds</p>
<ul>
<li>Strategize, plan and execute marketing campaigns promoting Bookshare&#8217;</li>
<li>Manage the web presence.</li>
<li>Develop marketing collateral to introduce the new offerings.</li>
<li>Manage partner relationships for joint development, promotion and delivery of offerings</li>
<li>Leverage existing relationships to promote benefits of the offerings</li>
<li>Manage relationships with training providers for program delivery</li>
<li>Generate revenue and track results</li>
<li>Use CRM to manage all contacts and training activity</li>
</ul>
<h3>We require:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 8 years program management experience</li>
<li>Prior experience selling revenue-generating training or services as a service or training marketing manager, including on-line and in-person presentation skills.</li>
<li>Experience with outbound email marketing techniques and tools</li>
<li>Excellent writing skills, including creative writing</li>
<li>Experience managing a team of contractors, such as trainers</li>
</ul>

<p>This a key position responsible for initiating and building programs in across the US. The EPM will design, run and track national outbound communications campaigns and build relationships with state leaders, district administrators and teachers. This position will use online conferencing tools to train schools and teachers. Additionally the EPM will facilitate program enrollment and help schools learn to download books. This position will attend conferences and events to evangelize Bookshare and develop collateral to educate schools and teachers.</p>
<h4>Essential duties</h4>
<ul>
<li>Strategize, plan and execute outreach programs to promote Bookshare membership and book utilization in selected states. Programs should include outbound email, webinars, and direct contact.</li>
<li> Build relationships with state and district education leaders</li>
<li> Apply creativity to the outbound emails, collateral and presentations you develop to support your programs</li>
<li>Track, measure and report on the results of your programs. Develop new program ideas from analysis of results.</li>
<li>Use CRM application to track contacts, pull segments marketing lists, track results</li>
<li>Management of web copy</li>
</ul>
