Description: Innopac & Applications Coordinator

The Kalmanovitz Library and the Center for Knowledge Management seek an Innopac & Applications Coordinator, classified as a Computer Resource Specialist II.

This position serves two functions. The incumbent provides systems administration support for the Library's Innovative Interfaces Integrated Library System, including Millennium products for WebOpac, circulation, acquisitions, serials, cataloging and interlibrary-loan. The incumbent also supports staff desktop applications, including - but not limited to - inter-library lending and borrowing applications, Filemaker Pro, email, online calendars, EndNote and authoring tools. The incumbent helps select software, tracks software purchases, installs software and assists staff with software use and troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications
Experience administering an integrated and automated library system; experience exchanging data between systems and sites via FTP and web interfaces; experience supporting the installation, configuration and use of workstation applications; demonstrated proficiency in technical problem-solving; demonstrated proficiency in detailed record-keeping and reporting; excellent analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Two or more years experience as an Innopac systems administrator; experience writing simple scripts on a UNIX system; two or more years of experience supporting workstation applications software.

Compensation
Base salary is $3,365 - $4,731 per month full time rate. Starting salary usually in the lower end to the middle of the range depending on experience and qualifications. This is a career position with an excellent package of health, vacation, and retirement benefits.
