Diablo Valley College, Pleasant Hill, California: Librarian (Public and Reference Services)

Diablo Valley College, located in the San Francisco Bay Area, is seeking an enthusiastic, creative and service-oriented full-time tenure track faculty librarian to begin August 2005. This 10-month contract position is ideal for a librarian with excellent communication skills who is team-oriented, flexible and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast changing environment. This position has primary responsibility for coordinating public and reference services. The assignment includes participation in shared reference duty, library instruction, and collection development.

Annual salary for first year teaching ranges from $44,724 - $74,112 depending upon education and experience. An excellent package of benefits is provided for employees and their dependents.
