| Description: | John F. Kennedy University is currently seeking a University Librarian.
Founded in 1964, JFKU is a private, non-profit, accredited university
serving approximately 1700 students in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since
its founding, the university has evolved and expanded into one of
California's leading providers of education for adult learners. The library system consists of the central Robert M. Fisher Library in Pleasant Hill and the Berkeley and Campbell Campus branch libraries and supports and augments the curricula of four of the five JFKU schools: Graduate School of Professional Psychology, Graduate School for Holistic Studies, School of Education and Liberal Arts, and School of Management. The JFKU library collections, exclusive of the Law Library which is administered separately within the School of Law, include approximately 80,000 books, 1,000 videos, 800 print journal titles and access to databases containing full text articles from over 5,500 journal titles. Essential qualifications:
