Livermore Public Library, Livermore, California: Librarian I (part-time)

The Livermore Public Library is pleased to announce the opening of their new 53,000 square foot library! The Library provides patrons with access to over 50 e-catalog/internet workstations, 6 self-checkout machines, study areas throughout the library, a cafe, a bookstore, and much more. In addition to traditional library services, the Library provides passport intake services and a Literacy Program.

The City of Livermore is recruiting for a Librarian I. The current vacancy is part-time (20 hours per week) with prorated benefits. The employment eligible list established from this recruitment may be used to fill future Librarian I vacancies. The position requires a Master's degree in Library Science or related field, or a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 years of professional level library experience may substitute for the advanced degree.
