Web Services Coordinator, Alameda County Library, Alameda, CA

The Alameda County Library invites applications for the position of Managing Librarian of the Virtual Library. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to be a part of the 21st century library services for the citizens of our communities. The Virtual Library is charged with providing a web presence that supports the library's mission to meet the information, education and recreation needs of Library customers and assures access to relevant, timely, comprehensive and necessary electronic resources for every need from small business development to homework help and life long learning.

Responsibilities:

Under general direction, the manager of the Virtual Library will be responsible for the development, operations and marketing of the Library's website, training programs for staff and public and the selection or electronic resources and services.

Qualifications:

An accredited MLIS and 3 year's recent full time responsible library experience, including 1 year full time supervisory responsibility required.

Salary:

$76,606-$93,080/annually.
