Life Sciences Library Manager, NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, CA

Planners Collaborative, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Life Sciences Library Manager to manage contract support for the Library Function at NASA Ames Research Center.

Responsibilities Include: Supervising staff and providing library services at the Technical Library and the Life Science Library. The Library Manager serves as the primary interface with the NASA Task Requester. The Library Manager provides overall direction to staff in addition to performing reference, ILL and other library services for researchers. The Library Manager may also supervise task support for other areas of the contract. The Library Manager is expected to initiate marketing activities.

Basic Qualifications: The ideal candidate possesses a Masters Degree in Library and Information Sciences from an ALA Accredited Institution and has several years relevant experience, including supervisory experience. The Library Manager should be highly competent technically, should have proven leadership skills and have the ability to adapt to changes in the government contract environment at Ames.
