The UCSF Library and Center for Knowledge Management seeks applications from qualified individuals for the position Night/Weekend Services Assistant, classified as a Library Assistant III. The Night/Weekend Services Assistant (NWSA) coordinates night and weekend activities under direction of the Night/Weekend Services Coordinator; the incumbent provides information assistance, maintains direct public contact for 6-10 hours per week and handles major patron questions, problems and complaints; the incumbent coordinates the staff of the Circulation and Stacks units during night/weekend shifts; the incumbent works on public services projects as assigned; the incumbent works in coordination with the Stacks Senior Work Leader to achieve shelving goals; assists at the Circulation desk as needed.
