Director, Academic Information Systems
The UCSF Library and Center for Knowledge Management seeks applications from qualified individuals for the position of Director, Academic Information Systems, classified as an MSP Grade 5. The Director, Academic Information Systems provides leadership, coordination and oversight for knowledge-based information technology applications within the Library/Center for Knowledge Management and collaborative projects with campus academic programs; the Director provides the conceptual, strategic, and managerial functions for information technologies and resources within the Center and is responsible for Library/CKM systems, applications development, desktop support and student computing facilities; additionally, the incumbent will serve as the technical and/or project director for current grant funded projects including those in clinical and translational research (CTSI) and tobacco industry documents; the incumbent serves on IT committees for the campus, schools and UC; and perform other duties as assigned.
