The UCSF Library and Center for Knowledge Management seeks applications from qualified individuals for the position of Clinical Research Customer Service, classified as an Analyst IV.

As a member of the Virtual Home team, the incumbent has a primary responsibility for directly responding to customer service requests through the CTSI Concierge Desk and for developing and maintaining timely, relevant and accurate content for the CTSI web site and the Virtual Home portal; the incumbent also participates in the Virtual Home Team’s efforts to design, build and staff all aspects of the Virtual Home, including the Technology-Enhanced Collaboration Environment (TEC-E), the CTSI web site, the Virtual Home portal, the Concierge Desk and Translational Connections; perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
BA degree or equivalent training and experience; experience providing customer service in an academic or research environment; experience using online information systems; experience organizing and maintaining content for an online information system such as a web site; excellent organizational skills; experience documenting user requirements; excellent written and spoken English communication skills;

Preferred Qualifications
MS degree in information systems or educational technology; experience in a biomedical research environment; experience in designing online information systems; experience using network communication tools such as videoconferencing, instant messaging and text messaging; experience working in a team environment; experience preparing and tracking project plans.

Compensation
Classified as an Analyst IV, $4,600 - $7,592 per month, full time rate. Starting salary usually in the lower end of the range depending on experience and qualifications. This is a career position with an excellent package of health, vacation, and retirement benefits.
