Global Taxonomy Senior Manager, Library Associates [recruiter], Chicago, IL or New York, NY

LAC seeks qualified candidates for the position of Global Taxonomy Senior Manager for our client, one of the world’s leading consulting companies. This position will be in Chicago or New York.

Requirements:

• Maintain company’s global taxonomy within the knowledge management group
• Consult with member firms on taxonomy best practices
• Maintain the global taxonomy on company’s site
• Demonstrate company’s leadership in taxonomies within the knowledge management community by attending conferences and speaking engagements

Qualifications:

• MLS from an ALA accredited school
• MBA preferred but not a requirement
• 4 to 6 years working in a business setting
• Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining taxonomies
• Familiarity with Factiva, Synaptica, Verity, Autonomy or other related tools strongly preferred
• Strong communication skill a must
• Professional demeanor a must
