SYSTEMS LIBRARIAN

Menlo College (www.menlo.edu) seeks qualified candidates for the position of Systems Librarian.

Reporting to the Dean of Library Services, the Systems Librarian is responsible for developing and administering the Library's web site, providing technology training for library staff, supporting the Library's hardware and software, managing online information resources, and maintaining and supporting the integrated library system.

This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and excellent benefits. The Systems Librarian may be expected to participate in the Library's reference/instruction program and to serve as a subject liaison in one or more areas. The work schedule allows considerable flexibility, although some evening and weekend hours may be required.

The position requires at least two years of relevant experience. Experience with INNOPAC/Millennium is preferred, as is an ALA-accredited MLS and an understanding of the small-college environment.

Menlo College is a private undergraduate college offering bachelor's degrees in management, mass communication, psychology, and history.
